a) There shall be no defined date to play a match and flexibility will permit a scheduled fixture to be fulfilled in a specified 15 day, or so, period, as detailed in the fixture programme.

provided, the reason for not playing is notified to the Result Secretary

b) Emphasis shall be placed on participation with no rewards for winning a match.
There will be no league tables and no points will be awarded at the completion of a match.
It shall provide a feeder to the competitive form of cricket known as Grouped Festival or Knock Out Cricket.

encouraged to adopt a local school (s), as a feeder for their U9 squads.

d)   Matches to be played on non- turf pitches, or artificial strips, where this facility exists. This will enable “chalked” crease markings
to be applied to best suit the age range of participants. “Kwik Cricket” type of wickets may be used.
The overall effect is to ensure the minimum of preparatory work is necessary in order to stage a match.

e)  The Executive Committee will arrange fixtures to ensure match opponents are varied.

“duty of care” considerations.
