Geoff Lowe, Brian Calverley REPORTS Secretary Nothing to report Chaiman The Chairman reported that he had been approached by Kevin King who was a
Level 2 qualified coach to take on the role as Girls Development Officer.He
asked a vote be taken on him fulfilling this role.
All Agreed Steve
Holliday and the Secretary were to set up a meeting with Leeds Ladies,
Kevin King and members of New Farnley CC to take try and set out a way
forward for Girls cricket. There
was no date set for a February Executive meeting. It
was agreed that one could be arranged at short notice if a need arose. The
April 6th date for the pre season meeting was going to be
difficult to meet with regard to getting the material ready for publishing
and then printing and the Chairman asked that this meeting be put back to
20th April The
Chairman had wrote to the Dewsbury Reporter and they had confirmed they
would continue sponsorship for the 2009 season The
Joe Lumb fixture on the 3rd May had been changed to the 9th
August due to Premier League games clashing in the CYCL. Fixtures
Secretary Hopton Mills CC had reported that the could not any teams for the 2009
season but hoped to be in a better position for 2010.; Batley
CC had been asked to give firm evidence that they were in a position to
raise a team at under 13 level. They had been given one week to do so. Disciplinary
Chairman The Disciplinary Chairman had reported that Ossett CC and in particular
Nigel Day had been very uncooperative in the Ossett / Azaad matter, and
was refusing to answer questions given to him. However he was hopeful that
a report on his findings would be available shortly. Trophy
Steward Lee Smith of Wrenthorpe CC had offered to act as Trophy Steward.

Treasurers
Report £20 for Handbooks were down as fees Romida Sports had to be paid to by branch where goods were bought from and not centrally as with Surridge, which was confusing. A discussion took place on the mounting costs of fuel for umpires travelling to games for the Representative sides. It was agreed that some reimbursement should be given for the longer away trips now taking place and for special circumstances.All agreed Child
Welfare Any Other Business
Lee Smith had offered to act as the Under 12
Manager for the Representative side and arrange friendly matches for them.
