Law 12 INNINGS
1. The toss for the choice of innings should take place on the field of play not earlier than 30 minutes and not later than 10 minutes before the scheduled, or rescheduled, time for the match to start.
2. The winner of the toss should notify his decision to bat or field to the opposing captain not later than 10 minutes before the scheduled, or rescheduled, time for the match to start.

Once notified to the opposing captain the decision cannot be changed.
