(Geoff
was a former President of the League from 1974
until 1987.He died in 1991)
The Geoff Bradby Memorial Scholarship made provision for a
player to be
sent by the Heavy Woollen District Junior Cricket League to
the Yorkshire Summer Coaching School,
at Scarborough, at no cost to the
individual.
Clubs were systematically given the opportunity to nominate
the player of their choice.
